Beschreibung:

We are looking for a well-known aviation company for the location HH-Finkenwerder an Ordering Officer (m/f/d). The jobholder (m/f/d) manages the supply chain of modification kits and spare part components in close collaboration with internal and external customers and suppliers within the customer service department. The jobholder (m/f/d) coordinates the repair, purchase and sales activities.

Ihre Aufgaben:

  • Process purchase orders and quotation requests for material demands and ensure the correctness of the requirements communicated to suppliers
  • Monitor order progress and material flow from suppliers to Airbus ensuring a robust supply chain
  • Provide frequent status updates and planned delivery dates to the customer by taking into account material availability at various storage locations
  • Adapt the material demand planning in case of short term customer orders or modifications and identify alternative procurement channels in line with customer requirements
  • Identify delivery delays at an early stage, manage recovery plans and root cause analyses as well as the implementing of improvement actions in order to prevent recurrent issues
  • Solve quality issues together with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance and actively contribute to the definition and negotiation with suppliers concerning logistic workflows
  • Ensure a smooth production planning process including steering and prioritization of material kits in cooperation with the warehouse service provider
  • Manage on time assembly and delivery of kits to Airbus customers

Ihr Profil:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering or Supply Chain/Logistics
  • Professional experience in materials planning/procurement, customer service, aerospace, supply chain/logistics
  • Positive, pro-active and customer-oriented working style and ability to develop and propose creative solutions
  • Flexible, able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and successfully deal with unexpected situations
  • Structured way of working and very good communication, presentation and analytical skills
  • English (business fluent), other languages ​​are an advantage
  • Detailed knowledge MS Office, Excel and SAP
  • Willingness to travel (1-2x per year)
